The M4E Work Readiness Program has successfully launched at the MAFO Conference, the
National Partnership of Farmworkers and Rural Organizations, after one year of testing at the Backside Learning Center at Churchill Downs in Louisville KY. The conference highlighted best practices from all over the U.S and MATT4Education’s Work Readiness Programs received high reviews. Participants were immediately attracted to its relevant content as they see huge social issues among Hispanic farm working communities from the lack of knowledge and awareness of the presented topics. Eighty percent of the participants requested follow-up presentations to explore the possibilities of bringing the program down to their communities. Many of them ready to start.
